What a beautiful double whammy of a show. First off, this is a stunning adaptation and one of the best comic-to-TV projects ever. It is so faithful to the Sandman comics that it's easy to tell Neil Gaiman was there every step of the way. The surrealism, gothic undertones, and ethereal dialogue make it hard to pull yourself away from the screen. Second, now I get to watch incels and biggots lose their collective minds about lgbtq+ characters. Desire was always non-binary. John Constantine was always bisexual. Lucifer is literally an angel- what does it matter the gender? Death is one of the most powerful creatures in the DC universe- the race of the character matters why? I could choke on all these "woke propaganda" comments. Die mad. This show was amazing.
