Alyssa Rooney

This book was well written, but it made me deeply sad. I can tell the author has never been to the Hinterland. She got the stories all wrong. To give her credit, she was able to capture some of the darkness of it, but just the edges. It would be difficult for anyone to capture the full darkness. And then she left out all the rest - the beauty, the hope, the truth and blinding light - which just feels like such a waste of wonderful talent.
