Less than convincing acting, predictable story, poor casting.

It’s seems as though the writers for this show forgot, or never real knew their target audience. The bare minimum was put into making this show resemble the video games or books at all. Johns character is completely different. The whole plot line with the little girl is pointless and seems as though it was added solely in the name of inclusivity. It’s based on a game and story that is action packed, yet action scenes are few and far in between. As a huge fan of the games it was greatly disappointing to say the least.

A fun show that pays homage to the original animated series while also expanding on the interesting, yet limited universe in which it takes place in.

It’s an interesting movie that makes you excited for a great plot twist and satisfying ending. None of which ever come.

Primal is a simple, yet powerful commentary on the human condition. Somehow telling stories which evoke strong emotions while at the same time lacking virtually any intelligible dialogue. Each episode leaves you wanting more.
