This is continuation from my first review for this drama under username Rajtanushree Dutta. My My this show keeps getting better with each episode
Ep 5 to 6- Has more joufull, comic relief moments than the earlier episodes it's also has some mature stuff on mention during the first 10 min of this ep (i was laughing, my cheeks were burning red all at the same time, this is my first time ever that I've watched a mainstream k-drama mention handcuffs, vibrators etc which was embarrassingly-refreshing advancement) They do not have much character development in these two ep, but here we will see Moon-Young who started off with the only purpose of chasing Kang-tae to satisfy her ego and sexual atraction is now trying to fit into Kang-tae's world, at one point somewhere in the ep Kang-Tae said these "It's fine even if it's fake, putting on a smile, Isn't hard to do" (this hit me hard, just imaging the weight of sadness he is under) Soo-Hyun, dude he talks with his eyes, uffff the agnsty tension growing between them is making it harder for me to stay without saying "Just kiss already".This show is all about the viewers investing themselves into the life arch of the charcaters not the plot. Sunday's ep had more Conjuring movie vibes. I always belived that no one could understands a broken soul better than another scarred one, this episode cemented my beliefe. Moon-Young shows a more vunerable side of her there is an entire sequence symbolizing that "even though words spoken have entirely different meaning sometimes , actions speaks the loudest truth", and Kang understands the truth that it's not every time Youngs's egoistic greed voicing her but her need. Now Moon-Young has official become my top favourite k-drama character of all time. (I cant see anyone who would so justice Moon's character than Seo-Ye-Ji, Damm where has this lady been hiding, her acting skills are spot on.)
Ep 7 to 8- What an emotional rollercoster ride were these, can't this show let me off without making me sob every 2nd ep. Ep 7 has its focus on advancement of both of our main lead but 8 is entirely spotlighted on Kang letting him smile giggle, laugh, cry he seems to have finally understood that earth isn't going to shatter if he let's people see through him& lets himself loosen up a bit. Moon-Young has allowed herself to break free from the fear/bondage holding her back from being comforting & happy. Now Sang tae may be mentally challanged but man, his character gives out quotes of this kind "The body can't lie so it cries when it's hurting, but the heart is a lier so it stays silent even when it's hurting bad"/ "If I give my keep giving away what I have to people who need, what will I have left?" which aim straight for my tiny heart, the love n care relation between the two brothers is heart melting.
You guys are worried about wether the show will have a happy ending or not, I'm loosing sleep over the thought, of how am I going to get above the intense hangover this show will leave on me after it ends once n for all.
