Sucks. If you've read a decent portion of the books, beyond the LOTR trilogy + The Hobbit... you probably won't like the show. Not much is true to the lore. The timeline makes no sense, even for TV adaptation standards. And it is just overall disappointing. They really just make a lot of the show up. Some new director thinking they can put their own spin on the source material to make it better. It sucks. Just stick to the script and the bountiful knowledge Tolkien gave us. The story will sell itself.
