I have to say I was so impressed with this series that I smashed it out in 2 days. I think the production team were 100% neutral to all that was going on and there was absolutely no collusion or scenarios being made across all 8 episodes.
I liked the fact there wasn't any narrative, its something a bit different to these type of documentaries and I really think it worked.
The passion and drive of the fans were captured and bar Jack Rodwell, everyone came across so well. Darron Gibson clearly has a few issues to attend to and Jonny Williams came across as an absolute gent.
I would of liked to of seen the captain John O Shea or Lee Cattermole speak in the documentary but they clearly didn't agree to this as bar John saying goodbye to some kitchen staff in the last episode you don't actually hear him speak.
I feel sorry for Chris Coleman and Kit Symons as they seem absolute top guys who wanted to stay and sort the club out. Another person who came across as a legend was Robbie Stockdale who after I have just googled, I am shocked to see is currently not involved in the game.
Really hoping their will be a second series to follow as I throughly enjoyed this.
Wish the Sunderland fans and club best of luck on promotion this season.
