This is perhaps one of the greatest books ever written concerning the origins of the universe. Published in 1977 before the digital revolution and further discoveries of our forgotten ancestors. Dr. Wineburg paints a rational explanation of the universe, prior and after the catastrophic explosion. Dr. Wineburg uses state of the art evidence to substantiate his explanations most in particular evidence of cosmic sound from the Bell Laboratory discoveries. But what makes this book so magnificent, his usage of simple English which can be understood by any person. A must read for any person interested in the formation of the universe as we know it today. I would rate this book as a Masterpiece!
