Have always been fascinated by the mad evil genius. Beyond par Iq level and an eschewed sense of morality.. he is supposed to be a “super” villain! This movie shows a depressed, delusional and broken man who is bullied by society to the point of snapping , takes up the gun and starts shooting people when backed into a corner( like that’s new!) Although well acted and well directed , it aptly shows how a person in despair can be pushed off the the ledge of humanity. It is a brilliant depiction of how a society can and does fail the less fortunate living on the fringes. However, it sadly falls really short of the genius associated with Joker.
