Kudos to the cinematography. We caught several scenes with hidden messages and ‘scenes within scenes’ so to speak. This depth is obviously flying over the heads of many reviewers or they are the type that “watched” Donnie darko but didn’t get it. Every line spoken in this film has 2 meanings, in some cases more. And it’s done flawlessly without forcing the experience. It took me a few times of watching this movie to understand it’s depth. I’m going to watch again tonight because I’m still processing what I experienced. If you go to this film expecting a popcorn eating action flick, maybe matrix was never for you to begin with.
