I love watching this show!!! I just realized that when Twitch was dancing he made me twitch! This show has gotten me through some tough times. My husband fell down our basement steps in March of 2013 and broke his neck. Then because of the broken neck he had a massive stroke two weeks later. He was paralyzed on his right side and had brain damage. After we were in therapy, which really did not help, I had the pleasure of taking him home and took care of him. He was in a hospital bed in our living room for seven years. With a lot of practice he could talk with much difficulty. Not one time did he cry or whine like why me? Last March he got sick. His body was deteriorating right in front of me. He started getting bed sores. One right after the other. He never had one for all of those seven years. He was in the hospital for a couple of weeks. They told me the infection was better. We came home and he seemed better. Then all of a sudden he went down hill. His oxygen was down to 50% for a couple of days. They said there was nothing they could do. He had such a strong will to live. He finally gave up on 4/4/20. We were married for 46 years. I truly wanted to go with him. I have never been so devastated. I’m sorry to say so much. My point of this story is that I have watched Ellen since her early days. I think she is a remarkable lady!!! She will never know how her show has gotten me through my darkest days. She has made me laugh when I truly thought I would laugh again. Please tell her thank you from the bottom of my heart. 💕
