Too dark and the characters are unable to decide which direction they want to go. Everything that makes the Marvel universe great is where DC goes wrong. First: Dick Grayson was always the light in the Batman and Robin team. He left because Batman was too dark, yes...but he had a great sense of humor and was a much more relatable character...they made him more like Jason Todd. Then when Jason Todd shows up he gets yelled at for being Dick’s “current” mirror image. You have to try and get the all the hidden meanings between all the F bombs and killings. It misses the mark in a lot of ways, and there’s nothing light hearted or charming about it it. Second: It’s depressing, it’s angry, it’s got a lot of plot holes and the character’s are a maze of personalities. The only thing that’s kinda cool are the Robin costumes. I hope next season they go away from the “tortured souls” approach, and give the character’s personalities that reflect their comic book persona’s.
