As someone who is prone to get future diabetes (hereditary) also having digestive issues and unknown causes of pancreatitis, I found not eating until after midday very helpful. You don’t need to do this for the 800 diet but it works for me even if I’ve gone off the rails a bit (job loss). The 16:8 method. No more bloating, stomach aches or gas.
I found consuming 2 x meals of about 400 calories of clean, unprocessed, no or low carb, zero sugar worked a treat for me and my system. Everyone is different and my body responds well.
