This is a wonderful book.A true first hand account of an extraordinary experience.This man was faced with a insurmountable task of teaching kids who have never been exposed to the outside world.This would be a challenge to anyone.He did it better than anyone expected and went above and beyond what was called for.What he face was ongoing racism of the time period even by his own boss.He did it his way and didn't care what others said he could or couldn't do.
