I almost hated this show. If it hadn't been for Lino's character and the scenes filmed in Florence I'd have binned this. Selfish (Amy's awful mother), horrid and sometimes downright racist characters ( Amy's family in the early episodes), and Hallmark soppy melodrama. Maybe Americans can tolerate this but I barely could.
