I loved everything about this film. Tessa Thompson and Nnamdi Asomugha were a JOY to watch; Great Chemistry. I liked that this story took place in the '50s and 60's (and let me add that the clothes were FABULOUS) and no one "died" as what happens in so many stories that place during that time that feature a black cast. This was a LOVE STORY and yes there were some "stumbling blocks" as with any love story. It was still very beautifully written and acted. I even enjoyed the relationship between "Sylvie" and her cousin "Mona"; they truly loved and supported each other. I highly recommend this film and I tell everyone I talk to watch it. You will not be disappointed.
