Miss VonHex

I honestly didn't know what to expect and I dived in without any type of knowledge of the show and I am so glad I did because this show is beautiful and it's something you need to see for yourself rather than through the word of mouth. I was surprised by the end credits saying that Joss Whedon directed, created, and wrote this because I've never really been for anything he's done (I never grew up in that Whedon era of TV or whatever). The effects are beautiful, the worldbuilding is great so far, I love the diverse cast and the array of powers that the characters have. The introduction of one of the "villains" (something tells me they're not the big bad). The show so far does a great shop of introducing you to the world without info-dumping and just lets us as the viewer experience the world and the different concepts that the show will be dealing with in the first episode. I really hope the ball isn't dropped because this is very promising.

I think the movie perfectly captures the dangers of working on the internet and the horror of having your internet identity taken and going out of control. A lot of content creators and even people who don't work online have this fear and it straight up happens to Lola/Alice in the worst way possible.
