Nuke Nuki

I waited in line at midnight for the release of this game and have been playing it, more or less, ever since. I've read reviews that people who long for the "good ol days" of vanilla, don't remember how hard the game used to be, that you had to train in each weapon, how spells had long cool downs, there was no quest helper to guide you, there was no dungeon group finder, you had to find a group or be part of a guild, you actually had to go to the entrance of the dungeon, which was a trek, there was a lot of content you could not solo and had to form groups, you had to walk everywhere for the first 40 levels, it was hard to make money, it was hard to find gear, there were areas you could not enter without being killed almost instantly and so on. THIS IS EXACTLY WHAT I LOVED ABOUT THE GAME. IT WAS HARD, when you accomplished something, you had accomplished something. When you had a mount, you had earned it. When you had good gear, you had earned it. You had to be social and join guides in order to be a part of some content. I would look at other players, who were higher level and had much better gear in awe and the idea that I might get to see endgame content one day spurred me on. Slowly, expansion after expansion, they continued to nerf the game more and more. Now, it leads you by the hand through everything, it hands you great gear, it finds groups for you that you don't even need to speak to, while running dungeons, all so you can quickly get to endgame raid content, to run over and over and obtain the same gear everyone else has, which coincidentally look boring compared to vanilla outfits, thus the need for "transmogs". How about just taking some time to create good looking armor sets? There's no training, there's no real need for any profession. There's almost no reason for there to be a "world" of warcraft anymore. There are players running endgame raids, who have never seen 90% of the map, which is ironic since they've also made all areas adjust to your level. It's just so not challenging, I get no feeling of accomplishment from it anymore and I just feel embarrassingly addicted, chasing a high that doesn't exist anymore. I think the game is beyond repair and well, I seem to be part of a small crowd, who misses it being difficult, so there's no reason for them to fix it. I'm currently trying to find something to replace it. If an easy time killer is what you're looking for, this is the game for you. I hate speaking so poorly of a game that's been a part of my life for nearly 2 decades, but they did it to themselves. I have enjoyed playing "Classic" again, but it's old news at the same time. I'll give it this, every expansion has been so disappointing, it makes you appreciate the previous expansion.
