Finley Kinsley

This movie had so much potential yet fell short. The DV aspect seemed to be glossed over many times. The final scene where Lily has her monologue fell flat (the actress literally smiled the whole time, it was awkward). Lily’s character came across as weak spirited in the film, whereas she seemed to have more strength in the book. I’m very disappointed. As a DV survivor, I wished for a better depiction. Skip the movie and read the book.
