Mei Designs

I feel like the main character is almost like the new Bridget Jones, with things just not quite going the way she wanted. She's likeable and relatable, and not too simpering. Thinking that this was just another "Netflix" romantic movie with poor scripting and acting and a trophy case of actors to save it (a rather sparkling set; Golda Rosheuvel, John Hannah, Mandip Gill)... this surprised me. The scripting and dialogue is meaningful, deep and the actors feel real. A fab movie to get absorbed into for an hour or so. :)
