Not a good programme. Outdated and moronic. Dawson's character is flawed and unbelievable. The focus on his smoking is such a 20th century marketing ploy. So anachronistic. The only saving grace is the professional and skillful handling of the main receptionist character, by a very accomplished actress. The under receptionist, a somewhat dysfunctional but likeable character is also a fine actress. Otherwise considering the plot and the dialogue and using the doctor's smoking as his main angle, give this show a miss.

Wonderfully made. Excellent acting. A superb film.

This is a fresh, delightful uplifting experience. Kitty Flanagan shines as does the entire ensemble.

Love Nicola Walker. But found episode one laughable. Brat daughter character is passe and was never a riveting angle. The asides to the camera/ viewers is distracting. It could be salvaged by a director with less artyfartyness.
