I loved this book and loaned it to several artists who found it "surprisingly interesting", giving much to "think about and reconsider". Art history came alive to me, showing God's mind leading artists though historical eras that I never realized was HIS inspiration dealing with the darkness of their age. I highly recommended it to anyone who wants to make sense of and find continuity in Art history. Pearcey shows us that we must discern spiritual warfare challenges to the Christian faith that have evolved in dark pagan minds - for Satan remains persistent in flaunting his ever-more degenerative snares by means of the visual arts.
