To truly understand this film, you need to take into consideration the era and the southern Italian/Sicilian mentality of that time in small rural communities. It’s beautiful in its simplicity. The bringing together of a community, the escapism and true wonder of cinema to a child and the innocence and power of first love with the Morricone score pulling at your heart at every opportunity and nostalgic regrets of what might have been that we all suffer …wonderful stuff and quintessentially Italian

Despite the initial classic build up of tension tantamount to an 80s horror movie, it soon fell into embarrassingly bad script, with ridiculous scenarios- I felt sorry for the once A lister actors and disbelief that such a dreadful film could find investment ?
