Special effects and cgi good but it's characters veered too far from the books, which was disappointing. Why did Root become female... Judy Dench with a sore throat?...could have cast Ray Winstone! Would have been a better choice.

Good story, well acted, low key and natural. All characters felt real. Would recommend definitely.
