Kamal Hasan is a genius actor and has very sound knowledge about cinema. No doubt about that. He needn't prove anything, anymore to anyone about his talent. God created him to entertain lesser mortals and he has done with great panache all these years and most of his movies has carried his unmistakable stamp of authority over cinema. Having said that, Vishwaroopam 2 is a big disappointment and fails to impress. KH could have avoided making the sequal or prequel or whatever.

First half is quite boring. Director Could have made a more gripping script. Irfan is inept most of the time. You get the feeling of watching a Drama. Second half is slightly better. A very good story concept lost by the director.

The core subject is relevant to the present time and the intent of the team to present it on the celluloid is also appreciable. But the movie fails to pack the punch mainly due to long monologue of the protogonist in the second half of the movie. There is too much of talking which becomes a bit boring as the movie crawls in the end.
