David gilmour is a fine musician. He isn't as talented as Roger waters of course. You can clearly tell David was just waiting for an opportunity to express his creative differences between Roger waters. Take a listen to "The final cut" and then listen to this album. You can clearly tell there is a leap in music style. Overall this album is glutted with WAY too many pointless lyrics, it doesn't have the same kind of art style as any other pink Floyd albums. Nothing taken from the 60's or 70's. Just pure David gilmour.
I don't want to seem like a Roger Waters stan but Pink Floyd's decline happened after 1984.
