Edit: spoilers. They did a great job with a 7 million dollar budget. But it is fairly predictable, especially if you've seen double jeopardy, or movies like it. It falls victim to the trope of loud ambient sounds, which can be headache inducing. It is very strong until she starts doing the horror movie cliche of looking psycho to everyone around her suggesting her husband is alive. It falls very flat when she escapes the facility and flees to adrians. There were like 4 cops inside and they cant find one chick in a parking lot? It was also very predictable that you know who was in on it, and that adrian was the mastermind. It was legitimately scary at times though, like when she poured the paint down, or the blanket scene. I also feel like the teenage girl and the sister overreacted like crazy when she got the email and the girl got smacked. I was yelling at the tv for the black guy to flee the scene at the end though, i mean she had a spare suit in her purse, like the cops won't find it, and why would he be there? Too many holes and frustrating moments..

Very disappointing. I will admit, the other movies have some flaws, tea leoni is the weakest link in the 1st movie. 2nd one can be generic at times. But comparing the openings to each movie should set the stage for the rest of the films. Bad boys 1 has the French fry dropping, car jacking scene, 2nd is the kkk shootout, this has a police escort to a hospital where Marcus's grandchild was born. Most of the jokes fall flat, the new characters are generic millennials, the story reminds me of return to planet of the apes, or alien 3, and how they add story to the previous entries to fit the new film. There's a lot of frustrating illogical stuff like how they let the guy get away at the nightclub when they were on both of his sides and the grenade picking up and throwing while on a dirtbike. They kill the commissioner, but nothing really happens, when i imagine the fbi would get involved then. A lot of stuff is done just to explain things or move the plot forward like the drunk footrace where mike gets shot. 16 years and this is all they could come up with, it's like Disney star wars, okay in theaters, but given the resources, they could've done way better.
