Sounds like it was written by disgruntled junior officer. I spent 29 years as a naval aviator. Flew 310 combat missions in A7s in Viet Nam on 2 deployments. I was in 3 fleet squadrons, 1 RAG, I CAG ops, and transitioned twice. Was, also, an LSO and have 1010 traps. I never saw anything close to what the author describes as Naval Air. To him every office and pilot in the entire Air wing above his rocket number was incompetent and a poor pilot. He has denigrated the finest pilots this country can produce. Shame.
