This movie is my favorite movie ever ! I know some people will just scroll past this review, but this is genuinely such an amazing movie ! Patrick Bateman is such an interesting character, I think Christian Bale played him amazingly. The movie does take some cuts that can make it a bit confusing, but besides that, I think it's great ! I love how open it is, like how there are theories about the killings being in Patrick Bateman's head. It genuinely is such a beautiful movie, I know it's a very popular movie but I genuinely wonder if people actually care and put time to understand. I feel slightly connected to Patrick Bateman, I'm not a racist, sexist, and all the other things Patrick Bateman is. But the way he tries to make people think that hes this other guy that's progressive and fights for people but is also very rich ! But he's actually kind of just like every other rich guy, he's a racist sexist and doesn't really care about a lot of people. He's also very filled with jealousy, and I just think that's so interesting. I do understand why they would cut down on some parts of the book to put in the movie and toned it down but I wonder some times how interesting it would be. But again, this movie is just amazing !! I love it so much !! 5/5
