Sugar

This movie made sense. I have combed over and nit picked every movie. I went into this with low expectations and was pleasantly surprised. The director was careful to have reasons for doing things, most especially regarding the age of the actors involved. He didnt build a mystery to the point you didnt know what the hell was going on (im looking at you prometheus.) There were plenty of nods to the franchise, and some great moments of innovation that were not completely implausible for the characters to have. I really want to babble but I don't want to spoil it. Good mix of real effects, cgi was excellent, actors were on point. Special credit to the actor who plays the robot... very well done. I feel like this could be a beautiful start to a new franchise. I am a die hard fan, my house is decorated with aliens, I will watch this again. And again. In the endless loop of the aliens franchise that I go to sleep to almost every night. For the last 20 years.
