I've never read any of the books but I absolutely loved the main three The Lord of the Rings movies and happy to still get to watch something that you can tell they worked really hard on. As far as the lore that runs extremely deep with the most loyal Tolkien fans, I can't really say why so many are upset. Also like another commentator brought up, I'm 100% against this "woke" me that Hollywood started. I absolutely reject anything of that nature so hopefully characters such as Disa was not casted just because someone said you really need to cast characters that aren't white. That should never matter in the first place unless in Tolkien lore it specifically said Middle Earth was full of nothing but white hobbits, elves, wizards ect. Just give it chance and I think the average everyday person who isn't deep into the lore will find this to be a very good show.

How could anyone make this film and then watch the final cut and be like... "Oh yeah this is exactly what I was wanting"😂😂
