While I found Ms. Zellweger's performance a strong and captivating portrayal of Judy Garland's later life, it failed to deliver a true tale of what was, and came to be in the end. Mayer didn't draw a heart on her breastbone, he fondled her! Why no return to NY? Where was the denouement? Sad.
