I went to see Bohemian Rhapsody with an open mind. Everyone I talked to that had seen it raved about it.
As a fan of Queen and Freddie Mercury I found it very disappointing. The lead actor playing Freddie didn't really look like him or have his charisma. False buck teeth do not a Freddie make.
That said I felt the writing was weak. I watched for about thirty minutes before leaving the cinema.
John Blunt from the Killer Queen Experience would have been a better choice to play Freddie.
Shame good actors were wasted on this film. But, this is only my opinion and if you enjoy the film more power to you.
