Guillermo del Toro's Pinocchio is a masterpiece for a lot of reasons.First of all the dubbing is perfect every voice in the characters fit perfect especially Master Gepetto's voice. For the studio part they made every scene by hand you can't underestiamte that. Secondly the characters are unique
who thought that a cricket can be a main character and fit his role's perfect. Furthermore the film comments war perfectly like if you don't go war people say to you you are a coward, if you want be a man you must served as a soldier and one more thing the leaders actually don't care about what their people suffering. We see this when Musollini come to see pinocchio's performance and says I like puppets but when pinocchio don't do what he should he said I don't like puppets like this it show that the dictators don't care about people. Last but not least I want to know what happened to lampwick he probably died but if he isn't what happened to him I really wonder. To summarize the film is not a childish diney made pinocchio film in some points it made me cry and I suggest everyone to taste this experience after you watch it watch the documentary about how the film was made which technics did they used to film this masterpiece may affect your view.
