It wasn't satire. It is how it would happen if it was happening now. Unfortunately, before the decade is up, it is going to be much much worse. People think that this is satire and maybe that is initially what they wanted to do. But somewhere in the creative process after the laughs had waned, the reality started to slowly creep in and they realized that the end of days is a real event, not coming to a theater near you. Hopefully, for those of us that were not sure before, will make to sure to be with our loved ones and embrace the end with grace. That is the test and this movie did its best to make that the most important thing, even if, I believe, there will more than just a few.
