Everything about this is awful. The scenario feels like leftover, canned, refried beans fetched from the garbage and warmed up several times, and the acting - - everyone's -- feels like a group of third graders trying to copy a bunch of bad actors. The only thing otherwise of note (besides her dreadful British accent) is that, in her relentless attempts to escape Father Time, Nicole Kidman has cut down on filler in favour of darkening her eyebrows à la Jane Fonda in her last movie. Shame on everyone involved in this debacle.

I could only give one star because I couldn't stand the affected solemnity NK adopts, and especially the way she talks. It sounds like a bad voiceover, and if it's not a voiceover, shame on the sound director, and if it is a voiceover, shame on whoever inserted her voice because it doesn't even seem like it's supposed to be in this film!

I've given it one star for one reason : Anne Hathaway.

This was really good. But as usual, the French actors were really bad (and I should know).

What is wrong with the critics????? This was FABULOUS.

Gave it one star because it was mildly entertaining for a moment or two. The brazen imitating of Quentin Tarantino was outright shameless, and why is it that the films Brad Pitt agrees to star in are so often lacking in substance?

I loved this. The best way I can find to describe it is Curb Your Enthusiasm on qualudes. 👍

If one can ignore the huge anamoly of everyone speaking English with French accents (and John Malkovitch was the worst, which is strange as he is married to a French woman), and the fact that Juliette Binoche, more power to her on a personal level, is speaking with a very pronounced American accent, one can REALLY love this. It was riveting, informative, .. bref, je ne peux qu'applaudir cette série, trop bien faite, comme le dirait les jeunes. 👍
