Heartbreakingly beautiful movie. Really felt for the two women. Resonated with me as my mixed-heritage grandfather "passed" as white around the time this was set. The music, the clothes, the sets are all perfect. Tessa and Ruth are fantastic as the two leads. Ending was a bit ambiguous for my liking. Did anyone else get a hella gay subtext too?
