I love the celebrities and professionals when they get to dance, about a third of the programme. The rest is boring time wasting. It would seem that the producers are unable to think of anything but the tired, repetitive formulae that is now so outdated. Get rid of them and all the trivial sections they love that get in the way of the dancing. Is it possible to remove all the squealing and screaming, possibly canned, and also the insincerity that pervades the show, including the unnecessary interviews, particularly those by the talentless Claudia Winkleman, get rid of them all. I would retain the judges, their comments can be objective and interesting. The costumes are superb, the sets fantastic and Dave Arch and his band and singers are just the best. Give us the dancing and ditch all the rest.
