Don't listen to the critics. Watch it for yourself. I was so surprised to see these ratings!! As a group with a range of Harry Potter knowledge we all loved it. One who has studdied books movies and pottermore loved it. One who only has seen the movies loved it. Another has only seen half of the movies, loved it. Another who has not seen anything , including the first fantastic beasts, loved it! Yes it has subplots but that's the same thing that kept us so attentive to try and not miss a beat. LOVED IT! If you don't have the biggest knowledge of the Harry Potter world I would take a friend who knows and can explain
