I don't give a Van Damme about anyone else's lame@$$ opinion, this is one of the greatest movies ever created in the martial arts or action genre! It has inspired so many young people from all across the world to practice martial arts, I certainly can attest to it! This was JCVD's big break, and I'm not referring to the dim mak! I think later movies were knock-offs of this film, but this set the tone of his film career. But more importantly, this story depicts how a person can represent a foreign culture and bring honor to a family name that you have assumed, even though you were not born into that family!
