John Short

Lost his hearing almost instantly, not over time. Focus of main character is not to accept his fate, only to work as fast as possible towards personal goal and learns some stuff for him to cope along the way. A few scenes where his attitude towards his deafness could've been used to turn this movie around. All in all a poor interpretation of someone overcoming the odds of life.
