Underrated compared to Zulu, this portrayal of the events leading up to the 1964 Stanley Baker/Michael Caine favourite still has a lot going for it, not least it’s spectacular scenery, Elmer Bernstein score and a well choreographed battle that if made today would be ruined by CGI.
