4.5* In short, a solid transformers movie. If you love the live action movies, this one may miss your particular style. However, if you enjoy G1 and arent too gate-keepy, I think this film has a LOT going for it. Some of the VA's weren't my favourite choices, but the over-all plot, corny as it was, reminded me how corny, yet bad-a$s, transformers should be. Worth a watch if you like transformers, however I'm unsure it'll bring "new" fans like earlier projects did. That and megatron's VA are why I'm knocking this 0.5, yet saying to all fans to give it a go!

I must say, I wasn't going to see this. Circumstances changed and I ended up going with a friend who was cancelled on, I have no regrets. This movie was outstanding! As the scripted jokes said, it's a low point in the MCU but this has to be in the top 5, maybe 3. If you're an Xman fan, I think you'll love this. If you're an MCU fan, I think you'll love this and if you're a deadpool fan, you probably won't notice if they turn the screen on or not so it won't matter ;)
