The movie gets a 1 start because it has Ranbir Kapoor. The man is a genetic genius, people like him can’t be made with hardwork, they are born with it. So it’s a delight to watch him.
Normally, I don’t review movies, and this maybe the last of bollywood movies I intently went to watch in theatre. But this time a review is much needed, because I am ashamed of belonging to a society that makes these movies. The absolute misplaced sense of feminism or masculinity ppl like Vanga define, is a disgrace. I do want people to know this is a very acidic and barbaric movie. The so called jokes and puns in the movie make you want to hate one half of the society. Vanga artistic work seems more like his unfulfilled fantasies that he’s camouflaging on Ranbir Kapoor. Initially, you’re engrossed because of Ranbir, but as it progresses even he can’t uphold the burden of Vanga’s desires. If his cinema is successful, I should stop watching movies, which am happy to give up after watching Animal.
Also Ranbir, please hold off doing another movie for Vanga, who hasn’t upgraded from ANIMAL in this lifetime.
