So I wanted to read a “classic “ considering it was written in the 40’s I think it’s pretty clever. I did find reading “The Book” section hard going and skipped it which didn’t detract from the story at all! Room 101 was interesting and I did find that considering it was written so long ago, the whole big brother concept of being watched all the time pretty fascinating and bang on in today’s world. I’m not convinced I loved the ending but feel glad I’ve read this now. An interesting read. Not sure I’d want to study it as an exam though!!
