It’s been a little over a year and a half since I’ve watched it yet it comes to my mind quiet often for how long it’s been. When people used to ask me what my favorite movie was, I’d hesitate and give a different answer every time depending on my mood, but since watching this movie, it’s been a no brainer question. It’s so captivating and immersive, a movie that captures the truth of war and it’s affect in day to day life. I’m not ashamed to say that I cried a few times during the span of these couple of hours, and made me question the morals of the use of the atomic bombs. This movie literally changed the way I think in the terms of war, it actually changed the way I look at life and how I should be grateful for what I have, no matter how big or small, because it can be taken in an instant, never to be seen again. Out of all the things you do in life, make sure watching this whole movie is one of those things.
