As a long time Paper Mario fan since the first, this game might not have been what we wanted? but it’s is amazing on its own, so far it does starts pretty slow but it picks up mid way and gets really good. I haven’t laugh at video games in a looong time, and this one takes it. I can understand the lack of unique character, but there’s varieties in this game at the least. To those who are really biased and upset because is not like the first 2 tittles? Please take a moment and actually give it a shot. I promise you, you won’t regret it! The battle system as much as I hate the fact that it’s not EXP based or true RPG, I hella had so much fun with it, and then music? Oooooof yeah y’all really missing out. My thoughts on the weapons? Honestly I thought they’ll break as soon as you use them, but they do last for a while as long as you don’t repeatedly use it in one battle. And if they break you can just simply buy more with the coins you earn in battle. And yes I feel like the Coins are mostly EXP behind a wall cause you do tend to have to grind for them quite a lot. And for the Badg- Accessories, I’m happy they put those in as well. How does Origami King stands out from sticker stars and color splash? (Honestly this game stands out on its own, it’s like it’s mixed with a bit of color splash and sticker stars but also mixing up with Paper Mario 64 and TTYD.) Yeah I ain’t gonna lie, I never had fun with those 2 tittles. Felt extremely repetitive and just feels like I never make progress. But in Origami king? Collecting toads and then seeing how much the crowd has grown, it really shows your progress and how far you’ve come. So far in the beginning of the game I gave it an 6/10 but right now halfway through, this is a solid 8.3/10 and if this good phase keeps on going it might go up or down who knows? But honestly, y’all really need to stop whining and legit give it a shot even if it’s different. Just like how Super Paper Mario was completely different yet we all loved it!
