There’s no doubting she is an amazing performer. But what I found troubling was someone who was so very enamored with the adoration of others. I have a hard time contemplating why that level of adoration would be such a driving force in someone’s life. She even names her video biography a name that should only belong to God; I Am. I found that troubling. I hope she is able to rise above her illness and learn some very valuable life lessons along the way.

My expectations were so much greater and fell so far short. Was this Costner’s way of trying to show up Taylor Sheridan following their Yellowstone fallout? The screenplay of Horizon is weak and seemed rushed to production. Some of the acting came across a little corny and transition from one scene to the next was, at times, hard to follow. Definitely not Costner’s best work. Horizon turned out to be a bit of a disappointment.

Disappointing to see Julia Roberts scraping the barrel. Movie was a bit anti-climactic but did keep our interest for the first 1 1/2 hours; then I was like, “when is this movie going to be over!”

Excellent! Best movie I’ve seen in a long time. Reminded me a bit of The Killing Fields. Great cast! Memorable. Well worth the watch!!!
