I despised the main character because of how evil she was to steal from the elderly. The movie's soundtrack was extremely loud with 80s synth tracks that did not "go" with the movie. It was extremely far fetched. I>E> First off, I highly doubt the mob would have let her survive. She would have disappeared. But, then, the main character survives a car wreck after plunging into water and escapes through the back window. I've been in a car that submerged into water.....she would not have escaped. And, afterwards to be walking around unscathed like she was was just preposterously stupid. I like a movie that even though it is fiction, it is believable. This movie was not believable.....and there was quite a lot of overacting to boot. The movie just really annoyed me, and I was glad that the main character was shot and killed in the end because she was pure evil.

My mother and I started to watch this movie. It started out really well. Great acting. Great cast. Great Story. But, then it changed. What I thought was going to be a sweet coming of age story turns into a story about growing up with mother who is an addict. I yearned to learn about a family....from the preview of the movie....of how they got to Kentucky...the drama of the lives that led to that. Instead, there was Lots of foul language, yelling and screaming. After watching the scene where the young man is in third year law school, being interviewed, we stopped watching. I felt that it was very far fetched that a young man in law school would not know what silverware to use in a fancy dining establishment. Maybe we'll give the movie another chance, but I strongly doubt it.
