They did a great job with chapter two in my opinion. Many of the reviews are criticising the length of this conclusion, and it was long, but I enjoyed almost all of it. The ending has been improved over the 90's miniseries, and there are a few jokes in this version referring to people's dislike of the miniseries ending. The adult versions of the kids match up pretty well. I'm relatively easy to scare with loud noises and frightful imagery, so my nerves were a little frayed by the end, but in a good way. I think if you liked the first part you will appreciate the second.
