I started reading at 5 years of age and have never stopped, now being in my early 60s. This book, by far, is the best book I've ever read. The author's wonderful descriptions took me right there beside Kya in the North Carolina marsh.It's been a long time since I read a book I hated to put down and actually was depressed when it ended.
